I write most of the copy myself. However, the best advertising
for our systems comes from the people who have actually

"It started really back in August/September.
And by the end of the year, we suddenly hit a 10 percent increase in turnover. A phenomenal (benchmark) considering the economic conditions.

"Today has been a long day at my practice!
Make no mistake it's been a fabulous day. To be honest, I wasn't sure how he would be able to convey his ideas and that of his crew, Marketing Pirates, to my team.
In fact, I was also unsure of how my team would accept those ideas because everything he mentions, you almost feel like, "Well, I'm not going to do that", "I can't do that", sort of feeling.

"I'd realized a good few months ago now that we were in a recession.

Following Tonys Advice We
Generated 29,145.86 In Five Days
Weve been working with Tony Gedge for a few
months now and a couple of weeks ago we did a promotion in
Bolton in the shopping centre for National Smile Month...
Thanks to Tonys help and advice we have had
over 170 enquiries about the practice and thats generated
around about 55 to 60 new patient consultations and out of
those. We spent 2,231.86 and got back 29,145.86.
Thats 9.62 per lead. A massive 1,406 per
cent Return On Investment. So thanks very much Tony its been
really successful!
For the last couple of months weve
been working with Tony Gedge and Marketing Pirates of
Dentistry. Tony has been quite influential in the way
that we practice and the way that we market the
practice. He has fundamentally changed
quite a few things for us which has really
boosted our numbers.
And over the last couple of
months we have not only increased in revenue. But from
being a squat practice we have been open five months now
and last month we had a phenomenal change

"The Treasure Map Experience was a real
eye opener for me and it gave me clarity about

Anyway
I have now got
confidence in me the person rather than just me
the clinician. I have lost the guilt about talking to
patients about themselves and charging the time for it
rather than just getting on with the clinical
dentistry.
I press
the flesh and speak on first name terms at any given
opportunity. This I can see is re-enforcing the
'experience' and the relationship.
Next I have been
sending M&S vouchers in a thank you card to patients
& writing 'Have lunch on
me' to make it into an experience and asking them
not to keep me a secret.
Also I have
requested a testimonial in return. These are now in in a
folder in the waiting room. I also send relevant
testimonials with treatment plan letters and information
packs. I send a tea bag with a compliments slip
that says put the kettle on and have a cuppa while you
read through.
And we now have a
list of patients willing to talk to other prospective
patients about various treatments. I now give big
treatment plan patients a bottle of champagne and a
waterpik cleaner if appropriate.
Word of
mouth referrals are up! I have placed an ad in
the local advertiser papers with no artwork. It has a red ring
around it with the headline Denture Wearers,
explains the difficulties with dentures and how implants
are the answer ripped off from Paul Tipton (with
permission).
This is followed by a
testimonial that says it has been a life changing
experience and a recommendation with my name in
capitals. I offer a free initial consult.
We have had in excess of 30
enquiries and people booked in after work or
lunch time for a free consult so no down time. Picked up
three cases so far so advertising will be paid for the
year easy.
Next I have done a
Botox and filler course and have a great testimonial.
Have just sorted proofs for posters for facial
aesthetics and dental implants for waiting room and an
A5 leaflet 'be a smoothy
and soften the signs of aging, live the fantasy of
rolling back the years'
Some of
these safe and effective treatments can be done with
your check-up so no-one need know. There is a
three for two offer with it . We have a list of females
30-55 to send these to with the testimonial enclosed.
Will have some to send out with recalls as well. We
really need to get emails organised but I'm not the boss
(yet).
Next thing is to
organise a leaflet drop.
Really like fellow
Member Jon Swarbriggs' ad in the paper so will base on
that. Will also get an implant referral pack for
dentists and Doctors sorted out later in the
year (summer after finished latest course).
Also did a dental
implant on our receptionist (front tooth) which has gone
great. This was not planned as a marketing stunt but she
is a walking testimonial which is great.

I Grossed Just Under 10,000 With
An Ad That Cost 140
I signed up to Marketing Pirates of
Dentistry about 3 to 4 months ago, just stumbled upon it
on the internet and it has been absolutely amazing. I
cant say enough good things about it, I went to the
conference in January and since then things have taken
off.
He gives you so much
information, the packs he sends you are awesome, the
monthly webinars he gets have amazing
speakers; world famous experts to give you all
these tips and there is so much information. So if you
implement that you should have no worries in the
current recession climate.
As an example I did an
advert in the local newspaper it cost me about 140. I
used most of Tonys techniques in that but obviously
when I showed him the advert he made some changes to it.

Here's what this is all about: my name is
Dr Steve Maskill from Oakleigh Dental, Manchester and until

Enjoying 'Doing Teeth'
Again!
We have been very busy 'implementing' lately, although I did find time to read the newsletter
featuring our ad and flyer!!!!!!!!!
I am currently producing some info leaflets on how 'green'
we are to distribute via the local alternative practitioners
and the organic veg box delivery. Also some 'kids'
leaflets '10 things every parent should know about how to keep
their kids smiling', to go into the local private schools and
nurseries.
I still need to set up a Callagenics line(s) to do the info
0800 number thing, but as usual there's only so many hours in
the day. I am sure you know how that feels!
We sent our first newsletter in February, and all the patients have
been very positive, they have mentioned the body parts
puzzle and there was a bit of a 'to-do' over the photo and
someone thought it was in Florence. We gave them a whitening
kit anyway!
I am looking forward to the next one, and am
enjoying 'doing teeth' again! The patients
have been very positive about our lovely new practice.
There has been a steady stream of patients
drifting down from the old practice.
It has been a busy few weeks but we are enjoying the
challenge!

The, one thing I guess that I learned on
management courses was how to delegate and how to spend your
time and get people in who are good at doing what they do. And
the value that you can gain from that really, rather than
trying to do everything yourself. The thing that I got from
your systems compared to other companies who are offering
marketing is that I have been disappointed a lot of
the times with the words and the copy they have provided.
And that I have looked at it afterwards
and thought to be honest with you, I could have done a lot of
that myself maybe even better than you have done it.
So it wasn't until I started working with
your Marketing Secrets Manual and seeing the volume of other
stuff that you provide then you start reading and then you
start to develop and evolve your own style. You become better
at criticising. So I am reading things now that I know if I
had read six months ago I know it wouldn't have been right but
I wasn't quite sure how to correct it whereas I am starting to
write things and think actually I should change the wording of
that or I should put that in that order etc and then I am
obviously able to send it to yourself because of the
FREE critiques certificates you give. Your
tweaking of the copy so to speak and the words that you use
become more powerful to everybody when communicating with
people.
Your systems are immeasurable
really and if the profit you are generating from using
something like that you'll earn back ten times over in the
fees that you pay in the coming years.I did a six month
analysis of, you can talk bottom line basics on this of what
we were earning before we started working with your systems to
what we are earning now and our turn over and profit line has
been sent up basically.
And that's because we have learnt how to put our prices
up, learnt how to ask for referrals, increased my confidence
in selling things, and all the staff and everybody really, and
the knock on effect has been the sort of profit that is now in
the practice, and still growing as well. We have put up our
prices with most items four times now this year, there are
selected items that we feel, we still felt we were
undercharging and we put some items up a little more often
than that.
So on average most of the
prices have
gone up four times this year 150 percenton
certain items. I used to laugh before because we used to put
something up from thirty eight pounds to forty, and on some of
those items that we went from thirty eight, they are now at a
hundred and twenty. We have just put, we have just done it
basically. In a smaller steps, but it.... we just communicate
better with people in terms of what they are getting and what
the price means, etc, etc.
In the last 3 months our monthly turn
over is now 50,000 so it's gone up to the point now where.
That's not just because we have had one good month, that's the
last two, three months have just hit that mark.

What I would say to people
who are thinking about purchasing the toolkit is that there is
an avalanche of information in that toolkit and I don't think
they would be disappointed. If they
are wishing to grow their practice I would recommend it to

I
understand that you may think this is NOT for
you', and maybe you're right!
If you know me I often say the
wealthiest private dentists I know, the wealthiest 1 percent
as our friend, Michael Gerber, would say, own Systems !
These systems of theirs create extremely high spending patients
. And high incomes from these patients far outpaces
their daily needs, and that of their families.
Almost all private dentists get up on a morning and start
thinking about income' and increasing income'. Very few get up
every morning thinking about patient equity' and increasing
patient equity'. This tells you what you ought to be thinking
about.
If just now, if while reading this letter I've written you,
your thinking is starting to be challenged, you should be very
concerned. If you have not yet fixed your income problem, not
yet stashed away a HUGE reserve of
patient equity, you should not only be concerned. You
should be alarmed.
For those of you not familiar with Chris Barrow: Chris is a
legendary dental business coach working with dentists who wish
to earn more and work less assisting over a third million
private patients a year. He has frequently appeared as a
speaker at every dental event possible. His numerous books
include Profitable Practice - 8 Strategies for Building a
Practice That Everyone Loves to Visit .He writes for Dentistry
Magazine. And his infamous More Profit In Less Time Newsletter
in which Tony Gedge is a frequent writer.
Earl Nightingale famously said, that only 5 percent got
ahead. But I think this figure will be slightly higher
now.
Anyone's Guess.
I know one thing
though: the wealthiest 1 percent of private dentists
are getting so rich, so fast, from their Systems, Systems for
sudden and immediate income explosion and inordinately wealth
buildingthat if you are NOT one of them you are
heading for a nasty surprise. One
that may NOT appear immediately imminent and visible to you just now.
And I wouldn't wish it on all those
ethical NHS dentists who hate me!
And guess what the surprise is? If you do NOT own a System
today, a
System for incredible income and wealth creation that you will
probably NEVER own one!
Just as you often say to your family and friends how life
goes by faster and faster as you get older. You may very well
fall too far behind.
Have you ever kissed
financial death on the lips?
I am always telling my clients that some private
dentists find themselves in the position to create more life-lasting wealth in just the next 33 months than in the next 33 years!
Just a few months ago I made this bold statement of Tony
Gedge, in my More Profit in Less Time newsletter. I have known
him for 9 years now, but in the last 12 months or so
he has really caught onto something. He has unlocked something with his System.
And its something that is so very powerful that it
deserves your careful consideration, your thorough examining

Have been thinking about what I'll be doing differently as a
result of your systems and here's what I've decided so far
1. To write my best patients and request a testimonial
that I can use on promotional literature
2. Ask every patient at the end of treatment appointment for a
recommendation to friends, family and colleagues. I will
give them 3 referral cards to pass on - I need to organise this
as I haven't got any at present but - I'll still ask for the
referrals while I'm waiting to get the cards.
3. Get a website up and running - we don't have one at
present - I'd appreciate a bit of help from you
with this
4. Write a tips booklet to give away free to people who request
it from the website
5. Introduce a 2nd level of entry to the practice which
will include a free smile assessment if patients want to improve
their dental appearance and will also include a valuable free tips
booklet / CD - need to work on this to decide what will be
included
6. Write to all paients who have just
signed to our dental health plan (introduced when we converted) -
letter to welcome them, include testimonials,
include membership card, ask for referral to friends, family
and colleagues.

There will be a re-vamp to include a dental menu, offers,

critique of our main one. Therefore it will have to

The changes we have made
after using the Auto Pilot Marketing System are so numerous to
mention. For example the
changes that we have made are huge in the practice. We've started using photo additions to letters that we use.
We've started using wacky letter marketing. We've used Voice

I am feeling a certain amount of 'overwhelm' at the
moment feeling that there is too much to do and not quite
knowing where to start. BUT loved your attitude which I
interpreted as 'get over yourself, stop whining and just get
on with it' I think you were a bit subtler but at the end of
the day it doesn't do it's self and if it was
easy to build a millionaire business everyone would do
